If reports are anything that can be believed, Trisha’s upcoming film with Simran is said to have been titled Sugar. Directed by Sumanth Radhakrishnan of Sadhuram 2 fame, the film is an action-adventure drama and is going to be like an entertaining ride.

Trisha and Simran, have paired up for Rajinikanth’s Petta, but one was seen in the flashback, and the other one in the present narration. So they haven’t shared the screen space together. But before that, in 1999, in a film called Jodi, Trishna made a cameo and this film had Prashanth and Simran in lead roles. Trisha played Simran’s friend in it.

Finally, after a long time, they have come together for Sugar. This film is bankrolled by All In Pictures, the makers of Gorilla. Sugar has been shot in Chennai, Pichavaram, Kerala, and Thailand. Music for the film is composed by Santosh Dayanidhi and cinematography is handled by Saravanan Ramaswamy. This film has some heavy action scenes where both the heroines have taken part in what we heard.
