Tollywood's noted playback songster and Pop singer Smitha, who successfully entered into 20th of her musical journey, is now receiving appreciations from her well-wishers, fans, friends, and netizens on social media. In an unexpected and pleasant surprise, Former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu too had sent his wishes to the singer.
The TDP chief sent out a letter to Smitha and congratulated her for entertaining music lovers with her musical numbers. He also stated: "It's a thing of pride that Smitha had composed the first pop album in Telugu" and appreciated her for having sung in 9 different languages. Naidu, further, wished her a long singing career and wanted to continue entertaining audiences with her soothing vocals. Taking it to Twitter, Smitha said: "This truly came as a pleasant surprise. I thank @ncbn Garu for his wishes ?? #AJourney #20Years".
On the other hand, Smitha and team have planned a special concert on July 22 (Monday) at JRC Convention, Hyderabad to celebrate her 20 years of journey.
