After the release of Manmadhudu-2 trailer, film's actress Rakul Preet Singh is facing criticism from netizens for puffing a cigar. While speaking to an English daily, the svelte beauty reacted to their verbal attack on social media and gave back a strong reply. As per social media commentators, Rakul being a role model to many youngsters is giving away a bad impression to all of them.


The trailer of Rahul Ravindran directorial has presented Rakul as an ultra-modern girl opposite King Nagarjuna. Reacting to the comments from netizens, the actress said: "I don't understand why they are trying to find fault for smoking cigar in a film? It has become their (netizens) tendency to attack film people. Even Shahid Kapoor has smoked cigarettes for Kabir Singh, because it is for a character he played. But, in reality, he is a teetotaler and a vegetarian. So, audiences should never compare the reel life with real life. I had to smoke in the film, but you should watch it to understand why I had do that."


Rakul also stated that she won't care about the trolls and meaningless criticism. 'Because, I have got many important things to do my life,' added the leggy lass. Manmadhudu-2 is slated for release on August 9th and it is produced by Nagarjuna himself under Annapurna Studios banner.
