After the YSRCP leader and former actress, Roja won from Nagari constituency for the second straight time, everyone thought that she would be inducted into the cabinet and may gain a key Portfolio. But, unfortunately, CM Jagan Mohan Reddy didn't give her a chance this time due to the political equations and caste criteria.


Then the rumours emerged that Jagan may pacify him with as assembly speaker post. Sadly, she did not get that post too . So, Roja and her fans are quite disappointed. But, the senior leader of YSRCP doesn't want to send out a signal that she is upset for not being able to make it to the cabinet. After meeting with CM Jagan on Tuesday, Roja exuded confidence that Jagan will give her a right post at right time. In no time, Jagan has surprised her with a nominated post on Wednesday.

Roja has been appointed as Chairman of APIIC (Andhra Pradesh Industrial Infrastructure Corporation). Though it's a nominated post, it has got a heavy demand. The responsibilities of APIIC include allocation of lands to AP industries, providing infrastructure and basic facilities to the companies.

Apart from this, Roja received an assured from Jagan that she will definitely be inducted into the cabinet after 2.5 years. Whatever, Roja has finally been appeased with a nominated post.
