People's Star R Narayana Murthy has a special recognition for himself in the film industry. He is bold, straightforward, transparent and a man who speaks his heart out. Having worked in more than 30 films, Murthy still doesn't own a car and likes to take public transport all the time.


Also, he loves to go by walk or catches a share auto to travel in and around Film Nagar. With a huge passion for films on social issues, Narayana Murthy has distanced himself for marriage life. So, he's very special and everyone in the industry likes his humbleness and openness. Even Megastar Chiranjeevi also showered his liking for Red Star. The Sye Raa star, who graced Marketlo Prajaswamyam audio event yesterday, spoke about his bond with Murthy since 1970s. "My association with Narayana Murthy started way back in the 1970s. He played a small role in my first project Pranam Khareedu and I took notice at him as he was very active on the sets. 

We know each other from those days and we still remain to be good friends. I personally like Narayana Murthy's behaviour and his passion for movies. He always believed in hard work and always put in his efforts to make films on social issues. With his work, he emerged as 'People's Star'. It is very common that everyone who enters this industry ends up making commercial projects but coming from communism background, Narayana Murthy did not fall into that trap," said Megastar.

The star hero further added: "Narayana Murthy never thought of buying a car or house. Because he only loved cinema and he also married it." By wishing his film a great success, Chiranjeevi has compared Narayana Murthy to a Yogi who only leading his life with a cinema.
