Earlier, we have informed our readers that F2 stars Victory Venkatesh and Mega Prince Varun Tej gave their vocals for the Telugu version of Aladdin, Disney's live-action remake. While Varun lent his voice for Aladdin role, Venkatesh offered his vocals for 'Genie' character which was played by Hollywood star Will Smith.

During the promotions of Telugu version, both Venky and Varun Tej have graced the press meet in Hyderabad. Speaking to journalists, Venkatesh explained how difficult it was to dub for Aladdin character. He said, "Will Smith's acting is so amazing that and it wasn't an easy job for me to dub for his role. At a point, I was not able to do it and got out of the dubbing room. However, I considered it a challenge and finished dubbing later."

Varun Tej said he's quite happy to dub for the most-favourite character of his childhood days - Aladdin. The musical fantasy starring Will Smith, Meena Massoud and Naomi Scott in the main lead is slated for global release on May 24. The film is directed by Guy Ritchie and produced by Walt Disney Pictures.
