Having opened to huge expectations on Thursday, Superstar Mahesh Babu's 25th movie Maharshi is doing phenomenally well at the box-office and is setting fresh records everywhere. As we reported earlier, the Mahesh Babu starrer has collected a share of Rs 6.38 Crore in Nizam on day-1 of release. Let us also take a look at first day figures in other areas.
The film starring Pooja Hegde alongside Mahesh has amassed a share of Rs 2.88 Cr in Uttarandhra, Rs 2.89 Crore from Ceeded, Rs 3.2 Crore in East Godavari, 2.47 Crores from West Godavari, 1.39 Cr from Krishna, 4.4 Crore in Guntur and Rs 1 Crore in Nellore. In total, Maharshi made a share of Rs 24.6 Crore in both Telugu speaking states: Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. The film is likely to continue its pace at box-office on second day and also, over this weekend.
Maharshi is receiving a positive response from fans and audiences on the first day and in particular, Mahesh Babu's extraordinary performance is being raved about. Directed by Vamshi Paidipally, Maharshi is a joint production of Dil Raju, Prasad V Potluri & Ashwini Dutt. The film is also doing well in overseas and the official numbers from the US are yet to kick in.
