Superstar Mahesh Babu and director Paidipally Vamshi's 'Maharshi' is setting the box-office on fire. Having opened to decent talk, the movie is performing well in both Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. In several regions, the Mahesh Babu starrer has registered non-Baahubali record for day-1.

The first-day share of Maharshi, in Nizam, is just phenomenal. With Rs 6.38 Cr on day-1, the film registered a Non-Baahubali record in Nizam and proves the potential of Superstar once again. The film achieved this feat by surpassing Baahubali-1 (6.29 Cr) and Aravindha Sametha (5.77 Crores). However, Baahubali-The Conclusion continues to be the biggest opener of Nizam on the first day with around 8.92 Cr share.

Maharshi, a joint production of Dil Raju, PVP and Ashwini Dutt, is expected to continue its storm at the box-office over the weekend and it may register more records at the box-office. Apart from Mahesh, the film has Pooja Hegde, Allari Naresh and Jagapathi Babu in other important roles.
