We all know about the generosity of Megastar Chiranjeevi, who is currently busy with Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy. Also in the recent past, he's getting into a lot of charity work these days. Last month, the actor contributed Rs 10 lakh to Raghava Lawrence's trust also gave Rs 1 lakh to a fireman who saves a 4-year-old girl from Naala by risking his life.


Most recently, Chiru made a donation of Rs 1 Crore to Allu Ramalingaiah Homeopathy College in Rajahmundry. The Sye Raa star surprised everyone by making another big donation on Saturday. Marking the birth anniversary of legendary film personality Dasari Narayana Rao, Telugu cinema directors association decided to celebrate May 4th as "Directors' day" every year. So, members of the association invited Chiranjeevi as the chief guest for an event in Hyderabad on Saturday

Speaking at the event, Senior and renowned director Raghavendra Rao announced a special trust for the underprivileged directors, including veterans, associates and assistants who're really in need for some helping hand to survive. The director said that the trust will gather a fund of Rs 5-10 Cr and through this, we will pay a monthly pension up to Rs 5,000 to those list of members.

Impressed with the move, Megastar Chiranjeevi has instantly declared a massive donation of Rs 25 lakhs from his side and asked organizers to collect the cheque in next one week. Before that, the star actor recalled his long association with Dasari Narayana Rao and briefed audiences on how he had the opportunity to visit him during the last days.
