We have witnessed back to back hits in this April and we can say April is the coolest month for Tollywood this year. The box-office has started with Majili’s release this month and it went big hit.

Though there is high voltage political drama in Telugu states, Majili has managed to score a big hit and it becomes one of the highest grosser in Akkineni Naga Chaitanya’s career. Also starred by Samantha Akkineni and Divyansha Kaushik, Majili was directed by Shiva Nirvana. After Majili, it is the ‘Supreme’ turn and hero Sai Dharam Tej has scored a reasonable hit with Chitralahari, which was directed by Kishore Tirumala. It is the ‘biggest’ hit for Sai Dharam Tej, after back to back disasters like Thikka, Intelligent, Tej I Love You.

Nani’s latest release ‘Jersey’ has scored big this month and it is also making a big sound at the box office. Directed by Gautam Tinnanuri, Jersey has Shraddha Srinath in a crucial role. Surprisingly, dubbing film Kanchana-3 also has tasted sweet result and it is still super strong particularly in B and C centres.

More interesting is Avengers The End Game also making big money at the box office. So, it is very happy to say that April is the coolest for Tollywood this year. We hope, with big releases May will become cooler than April for Telugu cinema.
