Tollywood's latest sensation and powerhouse Vijay Devarakonda is on a roll. After delivering back to back blockbusters like 'Arjun Reddy', 'Geetha Govindham' and 'Taxiwaala', the actor will soon treat his fans with his upcoming film 'Dear Comrade'.
The 29-year-old actor has on Saturday wrapped up shooting for 'Dear Comrade', which also has Rashmika Mandanna as the leading lady. A debutant Bharat Kamma is helming this upcoming political action drama and Justin Prabhakaran is taking care of cinematography. Vijay Devarakonda, who has managed to make his mark in the South with his diverse choice of films, will be seen essaying the role of student leader named 'Comrade Charlie' in this film. The lead actress Rashmika Mandanna is portraying the role of a cricketer named 'Lilly'.
This is the second time Vijay and Rashmika are collaborating, after a successful film 'Geetha Govindam' which ran successfully at the box office last year. Dear Comrade is a joint production of Big Ben films and Mythri Movie Makers and the film is expected to hit cinemas on May 31.
