Kanchana is one of the most entertaining horror-comedy series by choreographer turned actor and director, Raghava Lawrence. The latest instalment of this franchise, Kanchana-3, has opened to a strong 10.72 Crore gross on opening day in Tamil Nadu.


Arguably, the film is one of the biggest box-office sensations this year and it is the career best for Lawrence, who will soon be making his Bollywood entry with Akshay Kumar's film.l Kanchana-3 becomes third highest grosser of this year, Ajith's Viswasam and Rajinikanth's Petta. Despite not so encouraging reviews and mixed talk, the strong opening proves how much our audiences are awe of this series. Besides Tamil, Kanchana-3 has released in Telugu states and is making good money to distributors. 

With music by Thaman SS, the horror thriller has Oviya and Vedika as leading ladies.
