The original film directed by Zoya Akhtar was made on a budget of 40 Cr, but it went to collect around 230 Cr at Box-office. Earlier, some reports emerged that Sai Dharam Tej was approached for this remake. But, it didn't materialize due to the reasons best known to makers. The Film Nagar is abuzz with news that discussion with Vijay Devarakonda is already on. However, there is no official confirmation in this regard.
