Central Elections Commission (CEC) has decided not to release Lakshmi’s NTR before May 19th and it is said to be a huge shock to the makers. Directed by maverick director Ram Gopal Varma and Agasthya Majnu, Lakshmi’s NTR was already released in Telangana but due to court orders, its release was stopped in Andhra Pradesh.

However, with CEC’s latest decision, Lakshmi’s NTR has no chance of releasing before May 19th in Andhra Pradesh. On the other hand, RGV has announced via Twitter that Lakshmi’s NTR will be releasing this week in the state of Andhra Pradesh. In the meantime, Biopic on Prime Minister Narendra Modi also gets a huge shock from CEC and it was stopped with CEC’s latest decision. Not only biopic of Narendra Modi but also Biopic of Telangana chief minister KCR that is Udyama Simham’s release also postponed up to May 19th.
