Nobody can stop Ram Gopal Varma if he plans to do something. Also, he doesn't really need a story of his interest to impress audiences, because he likes to cater to the interesting and hot subject in his own style. After a lukewarm response to his latest film Lakshmi's NTR, the maverick director announced his next film as 'Cobra'.
Already, RGV announced a couple of biopic films on KCR and Jayalalithaa (named as Sasikala) as a director. Surprisingly this time, on occasion of his 57th Birthday, Varma announced that he would be making a debut as an actor with 'Cobra'. The film is going to be bankrolled by RGV Gunshot Films. He not only went on to announce the film's title but also released its first poster in which RGV can be seen holding a cigar in one hand and a gun in the other hand. The first poster of the film tells that it is 'a biopic of the most dangerous criminal ever'.
Cobra has been tagline as "If you befriend a snake to kill your enemy, someday it will kill you." For fans, the birthday of RGV could not have offered better than this. "Ahem! On the occasion of my birthday today, I am debuting as an actor for the first time in my career ..I wouldn’t mind if u don’t bless me ..Thanks," said the most controversial filmmaker.
