It was announced almost a year ago that Rana Daggubati will be joining hands with Gunasekhar of Rudramadevi fame for making of Hiranyakashyap. The film will be produced by Suresh Babu under Suresh Productions. As per the latest buzz, the film will be going on floors in the month of June. Pre-production work has been happening since a year now and five teams at five different places and offices have been working on it.

Nearly 17 VFX studios will be working for the graphical content of the film. As per the reports, the title of the film might later be changed to Hiranyakashipu. This film will simultaneously be shot in Telugu, Tamil and Hindi. It is also said that the estimated budget of the film is Rs 180 crore. The shoot is expected to be over as early as possible as there will be a lot of graphical content for the team to work on while editing.
