It looks like the elections in Andhra Pradesh is witnessing high cine-glamour. While Powerstar Pawan Kalyan himself is fighting the polls with his party, Jana Sena, several other artists like Ali, Prithvi Raj, Krishnudu, Posani Krishna Murali and Jayasudha have joined Jagan Mohan Reddy and are extending support to YSR Congress party. In the latest development, the noted film producer Prasad V Potluri (PVP Cinema) also is expected to join YSR Congress.

On his PVP Cinema banner, Prasad has made films like Brahmotsavam, Size Zero and Ghazi. He was attempting to enter politics for a long time. Earlier, he was rumoured to be joining Telugu Desam Party but he finally chose to take the membership of YSRCP. The noted producer and businessman are expecting the Vijayawada MP ticket from YSRCP. However, he is going to face strong competition from TDP. But, the local caste equations and his business empire in the region is certainly going to help him.

In the past, several film Producers have entered into politics and lost their wealth. And some of them like Krishna have emerged victorious. It now remains to be seen what will be the fate of PVP in politics.
