The popularity of Telugu Bigg Boss season-2 winner Kaushal has grown by leaps and bounds after he won the title. His followers, in the name of Kaushal Army, took out rallies in support of Kaushal. But, recently, a few members from the Army made some serious allegations against Kaushal and exited the Army. They have alleged that he is misusing the funds collected for his Cancer trust. Reacting to it, Kaushal clarified at a press meet that there is no misuse of funds in the trust and he is has dissolved all the fan committees with immediate effect.

On Friday night, Kaushal made an interesting move by meeting Telugu Desham Party supreme and AP Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu at Undavalli in Amaravati. Kaushal, who was accompanied by AP cabinet minister Ganta Srinivasa Rao, has extended his support to TDP. The Bigg Boss winner is also expected to campaign for Telugu Desham in the coming 2019 polls. Chandrababu Naidu has invited Kaushal's decision to support TDP.

Some speculations were rife that Kaushal would contest for Vishakhapatnam Lok Sabha segment on TDP ticket. But, he has condemned the news in the past. But, it now looks like the political entry of Kaushal is certain to happen. But, Pawan Kalyan fans who largely supported Kaushal and his army in the past are unable to accept his political move. Having claimed that he is a huge fan of Pawan Kalyan, Kaushal gained many votes in Bigg Boss and huge following post that. So, this may not go down well with Pawan Kalyan fans eventually. Kaushal himself has claimed that 'Nenu Pawan Bhaktudini' and said that he has been waiting to meet the Jana Sena chief from a long time.
