After dumping Sukumar, Mahesh Babu clears the route for Anil Ravipudi and story discussions between Mahesh and Anil are going with top speed. As per close sources to the director, it may be a tough cop story which was assigned for Mahesh by Anil Ravipudi and it has some similarities with Dookudu, which was one of the super hits in Mahesh Babu’s career.

Meanwhile, Anil Ravipudi has a special interest in doing flicks with ‘Cop’ backdrop. Earlier Anil did his first flick Patas, in which Kalyan Ram played an IPS officer. In Supreme, which was also directed by Anil Ravipudi, heroine Raashi Khanna’s role was designed as a police officer, Sub Inspector Bellam Sridevi. Anil Ravipudi’s third film Raja The Great has Radhika, a police constable, mother of a blind son (Raviteja).

So, we can expect another police story from Anil Ravipudi and Mahesh. On the other hand, Mahesh is now busy with his next release Maharshi, which is slated release on May 9th. While Vamshi Paidipally is being canned the flick, Dil Raju is the producer. Pooja Hegde is romancing Mahesh for the first time.

Sources revealed that after completion of Maharshi’s shooting, Mahesh will go with Anil Ravipudi and the film may go on floors in a couple of months.
