Superstar Mahesh Babu was supposed to partner with star filmmaker Sukumar for the second time, after 1-Nenokkadine. But, after several discussions and debate over the story, Sukumar seems to have decided to move on from that project and direct Allu Arjun. Reportedly, he had discussed with Mythri Movie Makers as well. Knowing all these, Superstar fans were in for a bit of confusion - whether Sukumar's movie with Mahesh is on or is it shelved?
On Monday night, the actor himself clarified that his film with Sukumar was called off citing 'creative differences' for it. Mahesh Babu wrote on Twitter: 'Due to creative differences, my film with Sukumar is not happening. I wish him all the best on the announcement of his new project. Respect always for a filmmaker par excellence." He further added, "1 Nenokkadine will remain as a cult classic. Enjoyed every moment working on that film", suggesting that he may collaborate with Sukumar in future.
Meanwhile, this decision by Superstar has made line clear for F2 director Anil Ravipudi who already received a nod from the actor.
Due to creative differences, my film with Sukumar is not happening. I wish him all the best on the announcement of his new project. Respect always for a film maker par exellence. 1 Nenokkadine will remain as a cult classic. Enjoyed every moment working on that film.
