The unexpected result of Boyapati Srinu's last movie, Vinaya Vidheya Rama, has come down as a big disappointment for the director. Post that disaster, he had a serious altercation with film's producer DVV Daanayya over returning some part of his remuneration. The issue got resolved internally and both of them got busy with their next projects.
Now, the director is back in headlines as he has reportedly returned the advance he took from Mythri Movie Makers some six years ago for a film which hadn't taken off. At the time when the Mythri was on the verge of fighting this issue legally after multiple reminders, Boyapati gave back the token amount he received from them. The mass director initially planned to bring them on board for his next film with Balakrishna. Since the actor is keen to produce it on his own banner NBK Films, they are said to have demanded the director to return the advance.
Following multiple remainders from the makers of Rangasthalam, the filmmaker repaid them the advance the settled the issue with them. Right now, he is totally busy with the pre-production work on his film with Balakrishna, which is likely to take off soon.
