Mega Power Star Ram Charan bagged a flop but a rare record in his career is set as his latest film Vinaya Vidheya Rama reached 62.85 Cr (share). As VVR’s pre-release business reached almost top with 94 plus Cr, it was another rare record for Ram Charan.
Vinaya Vidheya Rama was released on 11th January and it got disaster talk on its first day. Though the film was chopped off in some parts by makers the result was same. Even though it was declared as the biggest disaster in Telugu cinema history, VVR managed to collect 62.85 Cr (share and business closed) because of the Sankranthi festival advantage, a trade pundit stressed.
On the other hand, VVR chairs the top position with 62.85 Cr (share), when compared with 1.5 to 2.5 rating movies. Almost all critics gave ratings to VVR between 1.5 and 2.5 only. On an average critics rating for VVR was just 2 (out of 5).
Had the film got good talk, it would have easily crossed 125 Cr benchmark, which was created by Ram Charan himself with Rangasthalam earlier.
