Anasuya Bharadwaj is known for her steamy performances on small screen as well as item songs on big screen. It may be Jabardast or it may be Rangsthalam on the small screen, Anasuya will set the stage fire with her oomph factor.

When it comes to silver screen Anasuya has already triggered young hearts with Soggaade Chinni Nayana and Winner in which she did item numbers. Though they are item songs, Anasuya never accepts the term ‘item’. Now Anasuya is getting ready for her next release Kathanam, which is touted to be a thriller. Anasuya has been portraying an interesting role which she never did before sources said.

On the other hand, Anasuya accepted another interesting role which was offered by Vijay Deverakonda, who is being in plans to turn as a producer and director Tarun Bhaskar is turning as an actor with this film. Anasuya is roped in for another important role in this flick.

While speaking about her upcoming projects Anasuya said, ‘At present, I am not interested in glamorous characters. My focus is only on performance oriented roles’. When questioned about meaty roles Anasuya cleared the air and said ‘Strict No’. ‘I have some reservations about glamorous roles’ she concludes.
