It is almost official that NTR Kathanayakudu settled below 21 Cr and the final figure is 20.63 Cr (Share) as this film was already declared as a bomb at the box office. When compared with its pre-release business, NTR Kathanayakudu suffered from huge losses everywhere.

Even though the film gets good reviews on its first day, audiences could not connect with the film, which resulted in a huge flop. At overseas box office also the film failed to attract audiences and collected just 3.75 Cr. On the other hand, AP and Telangana also recorded just 15.42 Cr collections only.

Nizam, Ceded and what not, every area distributors got heavy losses which gave a huge shock to NTR biopic producers. One of the producers Nandamuri Balakrishna, who also acted as the main lead in this flick decided to give his next release NTR Mahanayakudu for free.

The free ‘Tantra’ will work or not? Let us wait and watch.
