One more much-awaited movies of the year are Yatra, which is a part of YS Rajasekhar Reddy life story. The film in which Malayalam Super Star Mammootty stepped into the shoes of YSR is slated to release next month. Yatra is based on Padayatra, the first and biggest political marathon in combined Andhra Pradesh by YS Rajasekhar Reddy, when he is in opposition.

With this Padayatra, YSR reached the common people of Andhra Pradesh. After coming to power, YSR implemented many schemes such as Arogyasree, Fee Reimbursement for students and many more. So, a section of people of Andhra Pradesh is eagerly waiting for ‘Padayatra’ to see YS Rajasekhar Reddy. But, the buzz on the film is not up to the mark as of now. Promotions are not up to the level. What is the actual problem? Nobody knows. After NTR Kathanayakudu failure, interest on Padayatra is diluted, some sources said.

On the other hand, the main cast in this film also not showing interest to promote the film. Adding to this, the trailers imply that it is a documented clipping of YSR's padayatra and nothing more. This is not boosting the interest of audience. The film is set for Feb 8 release.
