The year 2018 catered us some memorable films like Rangasthalam, Bharath Ane Nenu, Mahanati, Goodachari and many more. At the same time, it also left audiences in upset with some disastrous movies. While some films bombed at box-office after reaching theatres amid high expectations, rest of the disasters came with a reasonably low buzz. Now, let us look at those 10 movies which failed to impress the audiences:

1. Officer:

Director Ram Gopal Varma became Tollywood's king of disasters for delivering continues flops. But since he collaborated with his 'Shiva' actor Nagarjuna, there're expectations on Officer. There is nothing to rave about this film wherein Nag acted as a police officer. It failed to deliver in all the departments.

2.Amar Akbar Anthony:

The Ravi Teja & Ileana D'Cruz starrer is one of the biggest flop films this year. Srinu Vaitla, who is totally out of the form, crafted the film in which Ravi Teja played triple roles. The movie received bad reviews and word of mouth right from the first show.

3. Nela Ticket:

This is another Ravi Teja film that vanished away without leaving any trace. The film directed by Kalyan Krishna hardly made any buzz and left the producer Ram Talluri in losses. With wide cast, the trailer of this film promised some good fun and entertainment but remained as biggest flops in Ravi Teja's career.

 
4.Srinivasa Kalyanam:

It's a family drama featuring Nithin and Raashi Khanna in lead roles. The movie was directed by Satish Vegna, whose previous film Shatamanam Bhavati won the national award last year. But, this time he could not impress audiences. Though it was an honest attempt by the director to tell about the importance of marriage, the movie failed to bring audiences to theatres.

5. Tej-I Love you:

Directed by A Karunakaran, Tej I Love You is love drama that made a good buzz ahead of release. But, vanished out of cinemas in no time. The film features Sai Dharam Tej and glamorous Anupama Parameshwaran in lead roles. The failure of this film should be completely attributed to the director to the outdated story and concepts.

6.Agnyathavaasi:

This was the most anticipated and awaited films last year. Released during Pongal season, this Pawan Kalyan and Keerthy Suresh starrer disappointed the audiences bigtime. Directed by Trivikram Srinivas, this movie which had music by Anirudh is not just the biggest disasters of 2018, but also in the career of Pawan Kalyan and Trivikram. Despite that, the last film of Powerstar opened to massive openings in India and overseas.

7. Chal Mohana Ranga:

2018 was not a great year for Nithin, who made a good splash in the previous years. Chal Mohana Ranga, jointly produced by Pawan Kalyan and Trivikram, gained the tag that it is a laugh riot but it did collect a decent money at the box-office. Also, the chemistry between the lead pair- Nithin and Megha Akash in this love comedy, was highly discussed.

8. Saakshyam:

Until this film released, Bellamkonda Srinivas had no big disasters to his name. The actor grabbed all attention right from the moment its trailer was dropped on the Internet. But this action thriller, which has Pooja Hegde as the leading lady, was a big disappointment as it had boring songs, dull love track. The subject of the film was great and had some mass elements but it fared poorly at the box-office.

9.Nota:

Nota, the first bilingual film from South India's sensation Vijay Devarakonda is undeniably one of the biggest flops of the year. The political backdrop movie offers a different story bit it was criticized by Telugu audiences for having Tamil flavour in the subject and execution. Though it's a great storyline, the director failed to cater it well to the viewers

10. Kavacham:

This cop story is billed as a high voltage action thriller. Featuring Star actress Kajal Aggarwal as the leading lady, Kavacham fails to offer something new to the audiences. It's an unimpressive film for its routine subject and bad execution.
