Now that we are at the end of the year 2018, it's time to look back at the list of movies that made a way to our hearts and emerged as blockbusters at the box-office. While some of the movies came without much noise and went on to pack a punch at the box-office with an offbeat content, the rest of the movies have offered great entertainment and excitement. Now, let us look at those 10 best movies which won great applause from viewers:

1. Bhaagamathie:
In this horror flick which sparks a little fear in the hearts of audiences, Anushka Shetty delivers a praiseworthy performance. The commendable background score by SS Thaman and mastery storytelling took this cinema to next level. The film directed by Ashok has collected $1 Million at US box-office.

2.Chalo:
The Naga Shourya & Rashmika Mandanna starrer is one of the hit films this year. Debutante Venky, a former assistant of Trivikram, has crafted this movie with interesting Telugu vs Tamil backdrop and large amount of comedy portions.

3. Rangasthalam:
The Ram Charan starrer is not just the biggest hit of this year but also it is the highest grosser in his career. This path-breaking film, directed by the brilliant Sukumar, is the village-backdrop story wherein Ram Charan has dared to do the role of 'Chitti Babu', a man with hearing impairment. The film also produced spectacular box-office returns - the highest grossing film of the year and emerged as biggest 'Non-Baahubali' Telugu film.

4.Bharat Ane Nenu:
It's a political drama featuring Superstar Mahesh Babu as Chief Minister of a state. The movie, that is directed by Koratala Siva, attempts to speak on the political accountability, fiscal decentralization and social responsibility for every citizen. This is an honest attempt by Koratala, one of the sharpest and most assured directors of today. Bharat Ane Nenu has emerged as third highest grosser in the Telugu movie industry.

5. Tholiprema:
Directed by Venky Atluri, Tholiprema is a romantic drama that is both simple & complicated. The film features handsome Varun Tej and glamorous Raashi Khanna in lead roles and they are treated to watch on silver screen. Their performances as Aditya and Varsha worked well for the film, which has a great audio album composed by Thaman SS.

6.Mahanati:
This biopic film has proved the power of women. Keerthy Suresh, who played legendary Savithri, has excelled pulling off her role with immense applause from all sections of the audience. This Nag Ashwin directorial, which was also released in Tamil and dubbed into Malayalam, also featured Dulquer Salman, Samantha Akkineni, and Vijay Devarakonda. Mahanati became the fourth best Telugu opener in the United States in 2018 and became the biggest grossing South Indian film that starred a woman in the lead role.

7. Geetha Govindham:
After a cult film like Arjun Reddy, the sensational Vijay Devarakonda has surprised everyone with a good-boy role in Geetha Govindham. The movie collected a gross of 100+ Crore at box-office and it was talked heavily because of great chemistry between the lead pair- Vijay and Rashmika. This romantic comedy, with decent family elements, was on point to become a blockbuster.

8. RX100:
With two newcomers Karthikeya G and Payal Rajput in a rustic love story, RX100 has grabbed all attention right from the moment its trailer was dropped on Internet. The movie has its share of romance, love, violence, bloodshed and betrayal. The character played by Payal, Indu, is the most discussed and debated role this year. After the release of this film, Punjabi girl Payal Rajput went on to bag few more offers in Tollywood.

9.Aravindha Sametha:
Aravindha Sametha, the first collaboration of NTR with Trivikram is undeniably one of the most successful films of the year. The faction backdrop movie offers the best work from both actor and the director. The antagonist role Basi Reddy (played by Jagapathi Babu) is sure to stand out when it comes to this action drama. In North America alone, Aravindha Sametha minted $3.3 Million (23.5 Crore Rs) and become the biggest in NTR's career.

10. Goodachari:
Not so frequently, we get to see a spy thriller in our industry. But, Goodachari starting Adivi Sesh is referred to as one of the best spy thrillers made in India. It's the kind of film where you do know what is going to happen and yet, it keeps you on edge of the seat and injects the story. The film received a unanimous response from all the critics, viewers and even the Bollywood circles. This sleeper hit has reportedly grossed Rs 25 Crore at the box office in its first weekend.
