This week too witnessed four releases like the last week. However, none of the films gave entertainment to people as per their expectations. Among this week’s releases, there was only one Telugu film. Other three are from different languages. While two among four turned out to be disasters, other too attracted viewers within their limitations.
One wonders how Kannadigas liked Ram Gopal Varma’s Bhairavageetha but Telugu viewers rejected the film outright. Theatres are empty not only due to bad reviews but due to negative publicity through word of mouth. Collections are below average for this film. Even Malayalam dubbing film Odiyan which released amidst huge expectations disappointed movie lovers completely. People who expected Odiyan to be in the range of Manyam Puli, got immense torture. Even the presence of Malayalam superstar, complete actor Mohan Lal too couldn’t save the film.
Youthful entertainer Husharu got a good talk. Viewers got what they expected from the film. Those who like adult comedies are liking them but others are finding it difficult to tolerate it onscreen. Though the film is getting good mouth talk, lack of star cast is turning out to be a negative point affecting its collections.
More than this, dubbing film Samudra Putrudu is getting good collections at the box office. While Aquaman had good hype from the beginning, even the dubbed Telugu version is attracting the movie lovers. English version is running with houseful collections with 3D version witnessing huge demand.
