Sunitha shot to fame with her romantic songs in intense youthful entertainer Gulabi which created a sensation at that time. From then on she never looked back. Currently, she is seen not only in films but also on various stage shows along with hosting shows on the small screen.


However, of late one gets an impression that she is giving more importance to stage shows rather than films. On Thursday she was supposed to participate in a singing program in Srikakulam. However, the show was cancelled as the organisers failed to obtain permission from the police at the last minute. Sunitha went to sing at the venue arranged in association with AP tourism at YSR X Roads in Srikakulam. However, the event was cancelled as the organisers failed to take the required permission from the authorities and police in particular. The organisers tried to get permission from the police on Thursday evening.


But they got the permission only by evening 8 PM and by that time most of the people and guests who came to the venue to enjoy the event left the premises. Though people of Srikakulam showed interest in listening to Suneetha’s songs and her melodious voice, they got disappointed due to organisers' actions. Sources say even Suneetha expressed her displeasure on organisers over the mismanagement.
