A couple of days back rumours spread that all is not well between maverick director Ram Gopal Varma and his protégé Puri Jagannath. Rumours spread that ever since the Sri Reddy issue and casting couch controversy in which Sri Reddy abused Power Star Pawan Kalyan, chief of Jana Sena in an obscene manner and following Ram Gopal Varma’s confession that he instigated Srireddy to abuse Pawan Kalyan to gain media attention, they fell apart.


Rumours have it that after the Sri Reddy’s controversy, Ram Gopal Varma and Puri Jagannath are not in the talking terms. Earlier, RGV whenever used to land in Hyderabad, straight away head to Puri Jagannath and enjoy quality time. The rift between Ram Gopal Varma and Puri Jagannath came as a shock to their well-wishers. However, Ram Gopal Varma already rubbished all the rumours. Sources say both RGV and Puri has a very good rapport and RGV and Puri enjoy late night parties in Puri office quite often. Close aides of Ram Gopal Varma and Puri Jagannath vouch that following their thick friendship and bonhomie, no issue including Sri Reddy could create any kind of a rift between them that separate them completely.


Rumour mongers had a field day as Puri Jagannath shot to fame with Power Star Pawan Kalyan ‘s film Badri in Tollywood. They spread rumours that Puri was upset with the controversy as RGV targeted Pawan Kalyan who gave him life with his first film in the industry. However, sources made clear that in fact Puri and RGV are so thick that no controversy can separate them.
