As all of us know that 2.0 is going to be a Mega budget film, with the top of the film industry stars and star director directing it.

Ever since the movie was in production, it was expected to be a huge hit with the star cast comprising Super Star Rajnikanth & Bollywood star Akshay Kumar playing protagonist and antagonist respectively. Once the trailers were out, Akshay Kumar’s character raised curiosity as he was looking with complete change over in the movie with his makeup.

As Akshay Kumar got a stronghold in box-office collections in Bollywood, the multi-lingual extravaganza expected to take the box office by storm and many were hoping to re-write the records created by Bahubali 1&2. But the film opened with mixed reviews and with people expecting more than what is delivered. It looks like the Akshay Kumar effect is not up to the mark as expected in box office collections even though he played a fantastic role to the hilt. It is too early to predict the hit status of the movie, but Akshay Kumar’s presence was not able to get the expected pull to the movie, is the talk of cinegoers.

Some say that whatever the collections this film is reaping in Bollywood, it is only due to Akshay Kumar. Well, AK effect is almost nil in the south as it is purely Rajni’s hub.
