Indian filmmakers aiming to break Baahubali records are increasing with each passing day. Even though the high profile projects, Amitabh Bachchan, Amir Khan, Katrina Kaif’s Thugs of Hindostan and Rajinikanth’s 2.0 failing miserably in their mission Baahubali, they are not leaving hopes.

It is known that Kollywood filmmakers are coming with another big budget film titled Mahaveer Karna with versatile actor Chiyaan Vikram. The project was talked about a long time back but when no updates from the makers, many thought that the makers shelved it completely.

The makers finally decided to go ahead with the project with Rs 300crs and launched it in style after performing special prayers at the famous Sri Ananta Padmanabha Swamy temple in Kerala. The film produced by the United Film Kingdom, a New York-based production house is directed by RS Vimal.

Sources say one hour power packed action, emotional and sentimental scenes in the film will be the highlight in Mahaveer Karna. Vikram who of late is reeling under flops is confident that the film will bring him back in the reckoning at the box office. Plans are on to dub the bilingual in Tamil and Hindi in 32 Indian languages and International languages.
