A very rare feat has been achieved by the recently released 2.0 with Superstar Rajni, Akshay Kumar & Director Combination in Paris. It has been doing fantastic business with a daily gross collection of 100 crores per day for the first 4 days, in the released weekend. But with the film’s sky-high budget it is still cannot be predicted whether the movie will get a super hit status or not.


But it created a unique record for Indian movies In Paris, there is a theatre named “La Grand Rex Paris” which is one of the biggest in the world with a seating capacity of 2800 and considered to be the biggest in European countries. Only a few Indian movies get a screening here. Kabali, Mersal etc., got very limited shows. Now “2.0” which released on 29th November 2018, created a new unique record here in way of getting shows. 

As per the theatre management, the movie is bound to be screened there till 8th December, i.e. a continuous 9 days. It is not yet confirmed that how many shows per day they are planning, but even for a single show for continuous 9 days for an Indian movie here is a unique record, which may be going to stay for a few years.
