2.O’s first day collections have created a record with collections. The magnum opus which has Rajinikanth and Akshay Kumar in lead roles and has been produced by Subaskaran under Lyca Productions. The film has been receiving critical acclaim and is being lauded for its technicalities.

According to trade markets and experts, the film has shattered all the records and has accumulated a total gross of Rs 60 crore across Hindi, Tamil and Telugu versions. Coming to both the Telugu States itself, Rs 12.53 crore rupees were pumped in at the box office for 2.O. Touted to be the first Indian film which was completely shot on 3D. 2.O had witnessed an amazing and spellbound response from the audience. One of the leading ticketing portal sites even announced that over a million tickets have been sold in advance sales across all the three languages and formats.

People are still not able to book tickets as most of the shows and theatres are still full. Including the multiplexes and single screens, 2.O is seeing a massive response from fans. While the satellite rights were sold for Rs 110 crore Rupees, Karan Johar had splurged Rs 80 crores for Hindi distribution rights.
