Just when things looked set for a David vs Goliath clash, everything changed suddenly leaving all with raised eyebrows and speculations. We are talking about the clash between ‘Bhairava Geetha’ and ‘2.0’ and now the former has been postponed by a week. While many said Ram Gopal Varma postponed ‘Bhairava Geetha’ as he chickened out here is the actual secret.

They applied for censor ten days before at Karnataka censor board and this was for both Telugu and Kannada, they have that facility. When that happens they call up Hyderabad censor office and inform they are going ahead if Hyderabad board approves. Once approval is received, they will call board members who know Telugu. This is a rule but it is not necessary this has to be followed.

So, they took the film but at the last minute they said “Why here, we don’t have anyone who has that expertise in Telugu. We will do Kannada movie censor simultaneously.” So, the makers have come to Hyderabad and applied for Telugu censor here. Hence, one week delay has occurred. In a way it is good because it is staying away from 2.0 which is a safe bet.
