Actor-turned-filmmaker Rahul Ravindran, who has made his directorial debut with Chi La Sow under Annapurna Studios, is all set to join hands with Akkineni Nagarjuna for Manmadhudu 2. The project is going to be Rahul’s second film as director and will reportedly go on the floors in January.

According to what the source has confirmed, the film is going to be a romantic family entertainer where many senior actors of the film industry will be part of. It is expected that the film would impress the audience as it deals with pure love, marriage and family relations. A source said, “It is true that the duo is going to work together and the script is yet to get the finishing touch. It is still in the pre-production stage and an official confirmation from the makers is awaited. As things slowly start falling in place, a grand launch will take place.

”Nagarjuna was last seen in Devadas which was directed by Sriram Adithya. Nagarjuna also has Bangarraju, a sequel of Soggade Chinni Nayana, Malayalam film Marakkar, Brahmastra in Hindi and a yet-to-be-titled film which is being directed by Dhanush.
