With the arrival of ‘Aravinda Sametha Veera Raghava’ featuring Young Tiger Junior NTR, it was clear that the chapter of big budget and big star movies was over for the year 2018. This is a little unusual because there is always that one biggie which waits to take the advantage of the Christmas vacation and New Year energy.

However, things are going to be a bit different this time with the Christmas releases as good as locked. First in that list is ‘Anatariksham 9000 mph’ featuring mega prince Varun Tej. This space thriller holds good promise. Competing with that would be ‘Yatra’ which is a semi biopic on the late Y S Rajasekhar Reddy.

Yet another strong contender comes in the form of ‘Padi Padi Leche Manasu’ featuring class star Sharwanand and the natural cutie Sai Pallavi. This is an enjoyable yet intense romantic drama. That way, though the genres are different, these would be the last set of movies which would be at loggerheads during the Christmas race.
