Time and again we have been seeing how many filmmakers have been coining stories which come with period backdrop. Of course, it gives a totally different experience to the audience and for many it is more of a nostalgic journey while for some it is an opportunity to look into the past and understand where we came from.

The tough taskmaster S S Rajamouli has reached his peaks of fame after taking up movies which had a period concept. This commenced from ‘Magadheera’ and has touched the pinnacle with the magnum opus ‘Baahubali’. Now, Rajamouli is busy with the shooting of his new movie ‘RRR’ (working title) at the Aluminium Factory.

The first information coming from the shooting spot is, the film happens to be on period backdrop. According to reports, the story is based on 1920s backdrop and a huge set is currently being erected in Gandipet which would represent the 20s era. No wonder the film has been scaled as a 300 crores project.
