Since the last few years a trend has emerged in the Telugu circuit wherein some of the long lost and forgotten heroines are making a comeback. While most of them are vying for character roles, some are also looking at negative roles. So far, the likes of Sukanya, Nadiya, Sneha, Jyothika and others have been ruling the roost.

Recently, another former heroine has reportedly expressed her intent to make a comeback. She is none other than Laila who was seen in movies like ‘Pelli Chesukundama’ ‘Shivaputrudu’ and others. She was a sensation during the late 90s to early 2000s not just in the Telugu circuit but also in the Tamil industry.

Buzz is that Laila has now been sending strong feelers about coming back to the industry and she is quite keen to do negative roles. While her intent is understood, it remains to be seen who would be coming forward to give her the offer. As such, there are a sizeable number of foreign heroines and seasoned character artistes so let us wait and watch.
