Whenever the discussion of talented directors comes, the first few names that come to mind is that of the tough taskmaster S S Rajamouli, the wizard of words Trivikram Srinivas, the Mass Ustad Boyapati Sreenu, the soft spoken Sekhar Kammula and along with them, the wave of new directors like Sandeep Reddy Vanga, Tharun Bhascker and others.

However, if you were to take a closer look at the industry, you would notice that there are quite a few talented directors who for some reason failed to grab attention and make a mark for themselves. First in that list is Chandrasekhar Yeleti. Though he comes up with meaningful movies he is yet to shine as a brand.

Similarly, the National Award winner Neelakantha has an amazing sense when it comes to etching characters in movies and creating good storylines but it has been ages since he got a proper project. Another name to mention is that of Sagar who came up with ‘Ayya Re’. With competition increasing, it remains to be seen what the future holds for them.
