With passing time it is getting clear that the star power or large budget or visual extravaganza is no longer going to excite the audience. What they need is a combination which is dominated more by the content and proper storyline with flawless execution. If there is no depth in the story the film is as good as done.
This has once again become evident with the outcome of two big movies which released recently. We are talking about the Tamil flick ‘Sarkar’ featuring Ilayathalapathy Vijay and ‘Thugs Of Hindostan’ featuring Mr Perfectionist Aamir Khan and living legend Amitabh Bachchan. Both became big debacles at the box office.
This has now given jitters to yet another movie arriving this month and touted as India’s most expensive movie ever made. Yes, we are talking about ‘2.0’ and sources say even they also look tense because the pre release promos have failed to garner any interest. In between Shah Rukh Khan is also arriving with ‘Zero’ so it is going to get challenging.
