It is known that Mahesh is essaying the role of an American citizen and the shooting is happening extensively in the USA right now. However, unit members reveal there is not a single shot of the leading lady Pooja Hegde in this schedule. Incidentally, Pooja was part of the shooting schedule which took place at Goa.

With this, many are concluding that Pooja’s role would be that of a girl based in India and due to some situation, Mahesh comes to India looking for her. Helmed by the extravagant filmmaker Vamshi Paidipally, if this gossip is true it only means audience would have few déjà vu moments while watching ‘Maharshi’.
