We all know that filmmaker Shankar-Kamal Haasan’s ‘Bharateeyudu’ (Indian in Tamil) was a sensational hit in 1996 and it went on to win three national film awards for that year. After that film, they did not get an opportunity to collaborate till now. But, the popular filmmaker and actor are all set to join hands to bring a sequel to Bharateeyudu (titled as Indian-2).

Universal Hero Kamal Haasan, who has recently forayed into politics with his own party ‘Makkal Needhi Maiam’, is likely to start working for Indian-2 from December-2018. The 63-year old actor, who is the host of Bigg Boss show in Tamil, announced Indian-2 in 2017. Tollywood’s ace producer Dil Raju will be handling the production of this big-budget project. In the meanwhile, Kamal will wrap up his final portion of work for his directorial film ‘Sabaash Naidu’.

Ever since the news about Indian-2 came out, there have been numerous rumors of the film’s leading lady. But, one thing we hear from Film Nagar sources is that the gorgeous beauty Kajal Aggarwal is in talks for the film and she is most-likely to join the cast of this most-awaited sequel.
