There are quite a few instances wherein you would see certain actresses lamenting on how they are not paid on par with the heroes and how cinema industry is quite male dominated. Fact is, each word of what they say is true but there is a valid reason for that.

The core backbone for the business of cinema is the hero and it is only his charisma and box office stamina that fills the cash coffers. There have been instances where the film has worked purely due to the hero and nothing else. One film seems to be banking on that now.

We are talking about the Bollywood magnum opus ‘Thugs Of Hindostan’. This has Bollywood’s Mr Perfectionist Aamir Khan as the hero. The makers released the teaser of their first song and it didn’t garner much response. In this movie Aamir is the only hope as the trailer also has not created any excitement. Given the Aamir factor, we must mentally prepare ourselves it must be good.
