There is no doubt that when a crazy hero’s movie is in the offing, the anticipation and excitement to watch it would be high. Having said that, it is also true about the audiences expecting something relevant in terms of the pre release promotional material. Perhaps the latest release ‘NOTA’ should teach a thing or two.

The posters of ‘NOTA’ made it very clear that this is going to be a very serious movie with no scope for something cheerful. At the same time, there was not a single poster showing the heroines which was yet another false move. Point is, these posters were not matching typical Vijay Deverakonda’s image.

As expected, the openings have been poorer than expected. The reason being, when you go for a Vijay kind of movie there are certain things which are expected and that is not to be found. At least if the makers were smart enough to show some glamour and light stuff, the response would have been different to an extent.
