NOTA marks Vijay’s debut in Tamil film industry and because of a couple of his previous films, he has established a market for himself there already. NOTA is releasing today and once again, fans of Vijay are going gaga over him. Directed by Anand Shankar, the bilingual has Vijay, Sathyaraj, Nassar and Mehreen Pirzada in lead roles.
Vijay has chosen to do a political drama at a very young age and says that he feels that this is the right time. He also shared that the film is more about how any individual would react if he finds fault in the system and administration of the government.
When asked about which politician he is inspired from, Vijay said, “I am inspired from KTR, one of the young and dynamic Ministers our country has. I love the way he dresses up and my looks are inspired from him. I chose for some chino pants, handloom wear and some good material to flaunt in the film,” said the actor.
The actor thinks that NOTA will help him in trying his luck in the Tamil film industry and accordingly, he will sign up the other projects he has been offered. One of them is a bilingual again.
