We have reached the middle of the week and unlike the regular time when we get it on Monday, we waited to see if things are going to change during the Gandhi Jayanthi holiday. So, the report for the performances of the movies last week has come out and it appears that only one film seems to hold the interest.

We are talking about the film ‘Devadas’ which had a decent start and did somewhat well during the weekend. As of now, the graph has not fallen but then it is heard that the film was sold for very high prices and it has to recover quite a bit to be a safe venture. While this is happening on one end, here is the other end.

‘Nawab’ from Mani Ratnam is failing to excite audience due to lack of promotions. ‘Shailaja Reddy Alludu’ which came as a festival release is soon heading towards a disaster. Same is the case with ‘Nannu Dochukunduvate’ featuring the muscular Sudheer Babu. Overall, the report has not been very encouraging at all.
