It has become a common practice that the moment a film becomes a hit in a particular language it is immediately flooded with offers from other industries either for dubbing or remake. Some movies have plotlines which have a pan India appeal and hence they get sold for remake rights. Lately, few Telugu movies have achieved that level.
Most importantly, these movies are being bought by the big Bollywood houses. The latest to join that club is ‘RX 100’ which marked the debut of Ajay Bhupathi as the director. Reports from Mumbai reveal the Hindi version has been locked and it is going to mark the debut of Ahan Shetty, son of muscle man Suniel Shetty.
Sources also reveal this is going to be helmed by the talented Mohit Suri who has come up with hits in the past such as ‘Aashiqui 2’ ‘Murder 2’ and others. As such, ‘RX 100’ was made in a very countryside backdrop with rawness so it has to be seen whether the remake version would also be like that or something else.
