Making a movie is without doubt a daunting task but the bigger challenge comes when you have to ensure your film grabs the attention and gets the acceptance from the audience before it arrives. If that doesn’t happen no matter how good your film is, once it hits the theatres, it is going to fizzle out just like a leaf in autumn.

Currently there is a mania of biopic happening in the Telugu Film Industry and as part of that, one project has been on the floors. It is ‘Yatra’, the biopic on the late Y S Rajasekhar Reddy. This has Malayalam megastar Mammootty stepping into the shoes of the iconic political leader in the Telugu states. But here comes the flip side.

According to the trade analysts, the required attention for the film is yet to come and in between a teaser and a song also got released but the required thump didn’t come. The analysts are saying the makers should start their pre release campaign at the earliest if they want the momentum to pick up so let us hope they are reading this.
