Actor Bobby Simha grabbed the limelight at a theatre where he went to watch Saamy Square and when the media asked him about the Petta, he revealed that the film will be out for the audience on Pongal (Tamil Sankranti)

Petta is directed by Karthik Subbaraj and has Rajinikanth in lead role. Sun Pictures’ Kalanidhi Maran is producing the film. Unlike the regular Subbaraj films which have Santosh Narayan’s music, this time Anirudh is chosen. While Simran and Trisha are playing the leading ladies of the film, Nawazuddin Siddique and Vijay Sethupathi will be playing the antagonists.

As last two releases of Karthik were disasters at the box office, it is expected that he would do something big as he has Rajinikanth is in hand.

Rajinikanth and Shankar’s 2.O will release on November 29.
